Children have a great need to understand their environment and comprehend its inherent rules.
Educational spaces should cater to this need and assign things to logical places. This allows children to easily find their way around the rooms and act independently.
The in-depth webinar is aimed at educational professionals from nurseries, kindergartens, and after-school care centers, as well as anyone else who is interested. It builds on the webinars "Are young children different?" and "Children need good spaces" – but can also be booked independently.
This webinar highlights the importance of organizational structures, appropriate color schemes, and the choice of materials.
Together, we will examine the following questions:
• Arrival and orientation – Is the internal logic of the building recognizable?
• Qualities of the individual corners of the room. What do children need to feel comfortable and explore?
• Presentation of materials: Where do things live?
The webinar is practical in nature and is intended as inspiration and support for integrating education and interior design into daily routines.
Schedule: Slide show approx. 1 hour, followed by approx. 30 minutes for individual questions and discussion.
Max. 30 participants.
