Rooms in daycare centers have to meet a lot of requirements at the same time to handle the different needs of kids: They should have lots of space for playing and also be cozy for eating. They should provide a wide range of stimulating materials for independent, exploratory learning, offer corners and niches for rest and retreat, provide plenty of space for building and constructing, offer space for movement, and much more. How can all this be integrated into the existing rooms and implemented with limited resources? We will address these questions with you in this seminar.
- You will learn to analyze your own rooms.
- You will reflect on your own requirements for rooms in relation to your teaching methods.
- You will acquire basic knowledge about the effect of spaces on children and about potential spatial conflicts.
- You will develop methods for creating more peaceful play areas in your rooms.
Flexible implementation:
- As a one-day intensive training course
- As a multi-day process support with opportunities for in-depth study
- Individually tailored to your facility and needs
